Job Purpose
Responsible for supporting Intermediary Management in agency recruitment and Account Servicing in the Agency channel across all classes of General Insurance including Marine and non-Marine.
Job Responsibilities
Intermediary Management
- Assist in administrative duties involved in new agencies/agents’ registration to GAIC and GIA, creating agent codes/ePortal logins and preparing onboard kit for new agents
- Assist in organizing and coordinating agency functions and agents’ incentive trips
- Provide administrative support in preparing for agents’ CPD trainings such as training materials, attendance sheet, issuing of CPD attendance certificate etc.
- Update of CPD hours into GIA ARCM system; ensure that all primary agents fulfill their annual CPD training hours requirements
- Assist in yearly GIA renewal exercise and ensure that renewal forms and fees are collected from all renewing agents
- Maintain and update agents’ records on GAIC internal listings and GIA ARCM website
- Ensure proper filing of all agency agreements and documents
- Assist in product launches and company events etc. for intermediaries
- Assist in sending out relevant communication and circulars to intermediaries
Account Servicing
- Service intermediaries in Agency channel across all classes of General Insurance including Marine and Employee Benefits.
- Responsible for growing and maintaining relationship with allocated intermediaries.
Job scope may subsequently include underwriting new business and following up on renewal business.

Experience
Possess 1-2 years of relevant experience in direct engagement of intermediaries or agents. Fresh Graduates are welcomed.
Qualification/Education
• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a technical field
related to the industry ie. BCP, PGI and ComGI.
• Certificate of General Insurance or equivalent
