Chinese Language Teaching Intern (Part-Time)
Grace Montessori is looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dependable Chinese Language Teaching Intern to support our Montessori programmes for young children.
This role is suitable for a student who enjoys working with children and would like to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education within a small-group setting.
Responsibilities
- Engage children in Mandarin through songs, stories, conversations, games, and simple activities.
- Support children's natural acquisition of Chinese language in a fun and meaningful way.
- Work alongside the Montessori Directress during sessions.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining a welcoming learning environment.
Requirements
- Comfortable speaking Mandarin with young children.
- Enjoys interacting with children and supporting their development.
- Patient, observant, and willing to learn about the Montessori approach
- Some teaching experience is required.
Commitment
- 2 sessions per week
- Approximately 2.5 hours per session
- Small-group setting
