Role
As a researcher at GovInsider you would:
- Build contacts with senior government officials
- Set up interviews with government officials
- Source story leads
- Manage interview bids
- Transcribe interviews with senior officials
- Commission blog posts and third party contributions
- Contribute to all written output on GovInsider.Asia
- Provide writing expertise to other members of the team
We are looking for someone with:
- Written and verbal fluency
- Demonstrable interest in writing or public policy
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills
Other desirable qualities include:
- Previous journalism experience
- Ability to speak and write in a foreign language
- A university degree, graded 2:1 or above
