1) The cook performs his duties within the framework of standards and work procedures as defined by the Head Chef and management.
2) Supports the Head Chef in organization, development, operation and administration of the Kitchen
3) Responsible for the quality, quantity and appearance of food served
4) Controls the proper utilization of goods and ensures that food wastage is kept to minimum
5) Assists in washing equipment and utensils when required
6) Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of areas, equipment and utensils placed at his disposal
