As a Simplified Chinese Translator, you will be responsible for localization and proofreading of texts from English to Simplified Chinese and vice versa, as required by the company.
Other duties may involve management of in-app content and responding to user feedback in Simplified Chinese.
Responsibility
1.General translation work from Simplified Chinese to English and English to Simplified Chinese.
2.Take ownership for every interaction and take the initiative to provide the best possible approach to each situation.
3.Provide localisation service for in-app text and assets as required by the project.
4.Documentation and translation of inquiries, responses, game related content and guides such as FAQs and wiki.
5.Generate and compile reports.
6.Escalation of important information, feedback and inquiries to the rest of the team.
7.Perform other related duties that can be assigned from time to time.
The Pre-Requisite
1.Excellent command of Simplified Chinese and English
2.Is passionate about bridging language differences and conveying context in the best possible way.
3.Is able to work in a team as well as independently.
4.Experience in game localization from English to Simplified Chinese is a plus.
5.Experience in growing and moderating an online community is a plus.
