Job Description

To co-create strategy for the company’s product: 

  • Implementation of roadmap, strategy, and business models for the company’s products
  • Manage product lifecycles from strategic planning to guide creation of tactical activities
  • Understand new ways to tap into evolving market/industry development and dynamics by conducting market research, competitor intelligence and preparing product forecasts
  • Oversee the company’s product development initiatives which include customer need analysis, measurement of customer value and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain good knowledge of customer working practices in relation to the use of the product and services by integrating consumer feedback into product design and enhancements
  • Capturing clear requirements directed from business stakeholders
  • Evaluate the potential of new product/market/application opportunities
  • Prepare business cases to support the definition of new products and enhancements to existing products
  • Identify areas of product differentiation
  • Automate and develop recurring and ad hoc analytics reports to senior management regarding strategic initiatives, customer segment performance, performance against goals, etc.
  • Use best practice design and visualization techniques to allow users to see and understand their data 

To communicate this strategy to all of the relevant participants and stakeholders:

  • Act as the “product champion” internally, providing support and training to different teams in the company through internal briefings, responding to ad-hoc queries and tenders and ensuring that accurate product information is maintained
  • Manages client relationships through effective communication, problem solving and responding to requests, and providing post-sales assistance
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and within budget
