Global Mangrove Trust is a non-profit organization based in Singapore that’s combating climate change by making mangrove forestry accessible for both individual and corporate sponsors. We do this by empowering a global network to contribute to and participate in community-based mangrove forestry efforts through non-speculative, natural capital-based blockchain technology.
Our Mission
To empower families and businesses to protect our future through funding mangrove forestry.
We want to work with teams who are committed to protecting, preserving restoring and reforesting mangroves in ways that are inclusive, equitable, and committed to the highest environmental and ethical standards. We want to work with families around the world to empower our children to take a leading role in sustainable development and protecting the global climate. And we want to work with firms who are committed to inculcating sustainability in their business models, and who see their engagement with Global Mangrove Trust as a direct channel to becoming better corporate citizens through an innovative connection with the next generation of customers, employees, and leaders.
We are committed to transparency and ethical behavior in the receiving and distributing of sponsorship funds. We believe in the use of blockchain technology as a means not only of ensuring the transparency we treasure but also for achieving efficiency and minimizing overheads in fulfilling our role as stewards at the center of a network for sustainable development and mangrove forestry.
