Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing
  • Coordinate/design thought leadership articles, newsletters, EDMs and campaign collaterals to advocate responsible business practices
  • Interview GCNS members and produce sustainability stories (including written or audio-visual formats) for wider digital consumption
  • Manage GCNS' Facebook and LinkedIn pages and craft social media content
  • Assist with managing and updating content on GCNS’ website
  • Liaise with vendor on marketing collaterals
  • Assist with other administrative and ad hoc duties that may be required by Project Managers

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience, with at least 1 year experience in marketing, corporate communications and/or advertising, and engaging the media
  • Knowledge in various virtual event platforms (e.g. Zoom, Google Meets, MS Teams), and willing to explore alternatives as required
  • Knowledge and experience using design softwares (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and video editing softwares (e.g. Final Cut, iMovie, Powtoon)Knowledge of WordPress/HTML/CSS, Google Adwords and experience in copywriting
  • Possess initiative to look for alternative solutions and help out the team whenever needed
  • Research capabilities for report writing, data collection and analysis
  • Goal-oriented with a mature disposition to take ownership of projects and targets assigned
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal); comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across different sectors, regions and seniority levels
  • Possess a positive work ethic and determination in achieving targets within tight deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Accept that OT is necessary at times
  • A good understanding of sustainability and the SDGs, with a strong interest to learn and delve deeper into specific sustainability issues
  • Able to work within a small team dynamic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint required
