We are seeking a highly talented and motivated engineer intern with knowledge of backend service, object-oriented analysis, and programming. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience. The individual will be working in a team-oriented environment, playing a role in building RESTful service for existing software projects. This person will work with business and software engineers. To be successful in this position, the person has communication and interpersonal skills and has the ability to think creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, a self-starter who needs minimal supervision to complete tasks.
Requirements:
Has or is working towards a BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
Solid understanding of object oriented design and programming skills
General understanding of SQL and relational databases
Familiarity with source control (e.g. TFS, SVN, GIT)
Ability to design, analyze and modify programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and documenting work
