As Japan’s #1 largest Hermes’s specialty store, we have a rare collection of more than 400 items and handle over 4,000 Hermes bags, apparel, accessories and other rare collector items.
We have just expanded our business to Singapore and we are looking for for a self-motivated and high performing Intern to join our new team in Singapore. As a Full Stack Developer, your main job responsibility will be to support our website and deliver our customers world-class user experience.
Role
- Build new user-facing features while maintaining old ones
- Build front-end interface with focus on usability features, as well as back-end platform
- Proficiency in JavaScript with a knack for getting the visuals right
- Make sure web pages are optimized for best speed and scalability
- Experience with one or more object-oriented programming languages
- Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow and master your craft
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade from existing code
- Write well-designed, testable code
Responsibilities
- Currently pursuing a B.S. (or higher) (expected graduation date between 2022 to 2025) in Computer Science or graduated from a related technical field like Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields
- Build responsive, mobile-first web applications to support our rapid growth
- Experience with JavaScript (VueJS)
- Experience with AWS
- Understand server-side CSS
- Eementui and interactive service Axios is an added advantage
- Chinese or Japanese speaking is an added advantage
Programming Language Requirements
Frontend:
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript (Vue)
- Able to develop applications across different device resolutions
- Confident in working with APIs to fetch and display data
Backend:
- Java
- MySQL
- Redis
- Devops knowledge is a requirement
- AWS (EC2)
- Docker
- Git
Experience with design/prototyping software is a plus:
Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc (Personal Preference)
