• Building and maintaining vendor relations.
• Request for quotes for products.
• Acquiring and vetting vendor information.
• Uploading vendor information into vendor management system.
• Defining lead time.
• Negotiations and agreements on pricing.
• Supplier risk analysis.
• Determining minimum order quantity, standard packing quantity, quality metrics, etc.
