Festive Cashier & Sales Assistant (Part-Time)*

  • Part-Time Festive Cashier & Sales Assistant: $10 / Hour


Walk-in-Interview at Dairy Farm office. Please bring along your NRIC and Bank Statement.

【Main Duties and Responsibilities】

  • Be the point of contact for festive (Christmas) order taking for the store deli orders
  • Ensure that customer's festive orders are properly recorded in the system.
  • Subsequently on the collection date and ensure that the items tally with the customer orders
  • Provide excellent customer service at the checkouts through effective and efficient use of cash register and proper bagging
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping and maintain good personal hygiene to promote Company image
  • Be accountable for daily cash balances
  • Any other duties as assigned



  • Required to work rotating shifts
  • Able to work rotating shift AM/PM
  • AM – 7 am / 8 am to 3 pm/4 pm

Sales Assistant (Full-Time & Part-Time) (Seafood / Deli / BBQ Counter / Dairy / Frozen & Grocery)*

Full-Time: Up to $1,400



Your day-to-day work activities also include the following:

  • To check and log on to all POS machines, NETS, and Credit Card terminals
  • Ensure overall maintenance of front end supplies (viz. shopping bags, audit rolls, receipt rolls) and replenishment of cigarettes & newspapers at the check-out counter
  • Prepare documentation for voucher forms, refund forms, reports, float verification, and home delivery requests
  • To process Choice vouchers transactions in accordance to SOP for voucher tracking records
  • Conduct advertisement price checks
  • Perform cash pickups
  • Count and verify sales and secure within sales bag
  • Print reports from TPISP and attach them to the Cashier Media Summary report
  • Deposit sales transactions into brinks safe (30 min) and sign on to the brinks log sheet
  • Perform accurate issuance and proper security of TCC stamps.
  • Perform closing duties that include EOD settlement to ensure that Credit Cards & NETS transactions are properly completed
  • TTS declaration
  • Ensure smooth and accurate stocktake
  • Prepare service counters and impulse stand areas for routine stock take

【Main Duties and Responsibilities】

  • To display and replenish products onto our shelves efficiently to ensure continuous stock availability to maximize the profitability of the department and maintain a high standard of customer service at all times in our supermarkets.
  • Prepare fresh and groceries products
  • Ensure a high level of hygiene and housekeeping is maintained at all times
  • Check quality and maintains the freshness of products

Responsible for leading and managing the team in operations and maintaining food safety/work safety standards as per audit requirements & providing the best customer service experience to all our customers at all times to achieve the department’s KPIs

  • Store Operations

Confidential Assistant cum Chief Cashier (Full-Time)*

Maintain the cash balance held in the safe for servicing cash register floats and ensure sufficient coins and notes for making changes to the checkout operators at all time
Verify the amount received from cash pick-ups and balance the individual cash register with the Daily Cash Till Summary to investigate any excess or shortage found



  • To record and bank in all money received
  • Ensure daily bank-in of all cash, cheques, and foreign currencies collected from store sales intakes, payment of credit accounts and Concessionaires through depositing into the safe daily
  • Disburse petty cash payments in respect of petty cash requisition form endorsed by Store Manager
  • Prepare and submit in time to the Accounts Department all daily and monthly financial documents and summaries, as verified and endorsed by the Store Manager, for end month closing.

  • Responsible for achieving customer satisfaction, sales, and profit target for the store.
  • Provide efficient and effective management of the operations team in merchandising, operating disciplines, and outlining business strategies.
