Job Description

Your Role

You will be part of the Asia Life/Health team responsible for providing support for business development and related actuarial activities for our client companies in Southeast Asia. 

Your Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist in conducting portfolio monitoring and experience analysis to support product pricing, business planning and performance management
  • Assist in market research, presentation material preparation, and other client-related activities as assigned by account managers
  • Assist in developing work tools to speed up processes and documenting reinsurance contracts
  • Provide support to other ad-hoc assignments from time to time

Your Profile 

  • Penultimate or Final Year Degree student in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or any related quantitative fields
  • Able to work full-time during school break and able to commit 2-3 days per week during the school semester
  • Working knowledge of Excel is a must; and knowledge of additional statistical software, such as R/Python, is an advantage
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently as well as a strong team player
  • Interns can work full-time during the school holidays and are allowed to switch to part-time when their school starts
