Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose : GE's internships offer a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience through challenging projects, learn from some of the brightest and most innovative minds in the business and network with a variety of talented professionals.

Responsibilities : Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • RFQ process per policy based on specification and scope of work
  • Generate PR to PO - Issue physical items and enter to SAP Inventory System (MB1A) - KPI performance of cost, delivery and pay term
  • Received from Vendor, Freight forwarder, courier services. verify and Enter to SAP PO system (MIGO) and notify requestor for collection.
  • Assist in coordinating measuring equipment calibration and lifting equipment load test. - Inventory
  • Physical and monthly cycle count
  • Any other adhoc duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements : 

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma / Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace and/or Material Engineering
  • Competent in MS Office applications
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and actively in a shop environment
  • Interested to learn about lean manufacturing
