Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and relationship-oriented Partnerships Intern to support our partnership development initiatives.

As a Partnerships Intern, you will work closely with the partnerships and business teams to identify potential strategic partners, support partnership outreach, manage partner communications, and assist in developing collaboration opportunities that drive growth for GBCI Ventures and its portfolio companies.

This internship provides hands-on experience in partnership strategy, stakeholder management, market research, and ecosystem development. You will gain exposure to working with startups, technology companies, communities, influencers, merchants, and potential strategic partners across different industries.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential strategic partners, companies, communities, influencers, and organizations for collaboration opportunities.
• Assist in building and maintaining a database of potential and existing partners.
• Support partnership outreach activities and initial communication with potential partners.
• Assist in preparing partnership proposals, presentations, partnership decks, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate meetings and follow up with potential partners to ensure smooth communication.
• Support partnership onboarding processes and maintain good relationships with existing partners.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, partnership opportunities, and potential collaboration areas.
• Assist in planning and executing partnership campaigns, events, and networking activities.
• Collaborate with business development, marketing, product, and operations teams to support partnership initiatives.
• Track partnership progress, maintain reports, and provide updates to the team.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks related to partnerships and business growth.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, International Business, Management, or related fields.
• Strong interest in partnerships, business development, networking, and startup ecosystems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable communicating with external stakeholders and building professional relationships.
• Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with different teams.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is preferred.
• Experience with Canva, presentation preparation, CRM tools, or market research is a plus.
