Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore) (FLA) started as Singapore's national franchise body. It was one of the founding members of the World Franchise Council.

The Association has taken the initiative of enlarging the membership representation and scope of the Association to include companies engaged in Branding and Technology Licensing.


Promoting Singapore as a franchise hub and coupled with members' common objective of business growth and expansion through franchising and licensing formats, the Association seeks to continually promote the platforms of Entrepreneurship and Internationalism in the industry. 

Job Description

To all who are interested in marketing and events, you probably know how competitive it is to get a good internship with an established company. Your peers may be aiming for large multinational companies, but you should know better than join the rat race. A much wiser learning alternative would be to achieve a sound understanding of Singapore's very own business ecosystem. What better company than Franchising and Licensing Association(Singapore) (FLA) then?

Keep abreast of all the latest franchises, both local and foreign, to hit Singapore. FLA is looking for a Marketing & Events Intern to assist in event management and ad-hoc marketing campaigns! On top of marketing and event management skills, you are about to learn how franchising works.

Your Task

Cleaning up, maintaining & building up members’ database as there are frequent changes in franchises.

Assist in research and telemarketing duties on day-to-day basis

Liaise, through phone, email or meeting, with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations

Support the team in local events like seminar,workshops and networking sessions for members

Support ad-hoc marketing activities and projects

Requirements

Undergraduates in any discipline are welcomed to apply, although Marketing/Communications/Business would be preferred

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Basic knowledge CRM(Customer Relationship Management) systems

Basic level of proficiency in Adobe PhotoShop

Able to commit 4-6 months
