General Administrative work within the department inclusive of duties where the intern would:
- Assist in managing the accreditation process for Faithful+Gould project personnel with SGP as well as the coordination of all contractor input for the Event;
- Assist with the operations of the Event Period Technical help desk – Engineering Service Desk (ESD);
And other duties as might be assigned by their supervisor in relation to Administration & Site Management.
The Intern must be confident of the:
- Ability to read and interpret basic civil drawings
- Ability to communicate with Contractors on site
Skills Gained by the End of Co-op/Internship:
- Increase exposure to the art of taking minutes of meeting
- Improved skills in writing reports and presentations
- Greater construction awareness/experience
- The importance of team work and collaboration to achieve desired outcomes
- Exposure to and confidence dealing with international, professional consultants and contractors
- Experience and exposure to being part of an internationally acclaimed sporting event, that is still the only Night Race in the Grand Prix Calendar
