Eunice Olsen Media (formerly known as House of Ou Studios) is an independent media company created by Eunice Olsen. It was created with the aim to produce impactful and mindful content that advocates for global issues, and influences behavior, with a strong focus on the empowerment of women and girls.
It's flagship program womentalk tv, was nominated for an International Emmy Award in 2014 for Best Digital - Non Fiction. It's a short form online video program that champions women's empowerment, featuring everyday women in Asia that have either overcome adversity or empower others through their work.
The other online video program, Tripvid is targeted for launch in November 2015 and is centred around travel. Within each destination covered, Tripvid shares experiences for food, fashion and fun based on what the locals do, and not just the popular places.
In addition, House of Ou Studios co-produced the first ever Singapore / Cambodia feature film production, 3.50, about the sex trafficking trade in Cambodia, and co-produced Last Night Inn with Glixstudios in Los Angeles, and has won several festival wreaths to date.
We have several new programs in the pipeline and are looking for writers/ producers to join our team.
Your Responsibilities
•Content creation for our programs.
•Research interviewees and background stories.
•Distill interviews and stories into a compelling video.
•Work alongside video editor in post production.
Our Requirements
•You are self-motivated, passionate, able to work independantly as well as in a team.
•Possess a strong command of English. Proficency in a second language a bonus.
•Work experience would be an advantage, but we will also consider fresh graduates who show great potential.
•You are creative, organized, detailed and efficient.
•You possess a positive attitude, responsible and have desire the desire to constantly challenge yourself.
•We are looking for proactive and hardworking individuals who want to contribute to something meaningful.
