Essilor Singapore – Finance Intern

Key Responsibilities:

1. To handle day to day accounting functions included Account Payable, Account Receivable and General Ledger.

2. Prepare billings and check payments with relevant documentation for management verification and approval.

3. Issue payment & generate payment voucher.

4. To assist in system daily entries.

5. Prepare monthly AR & AP ageing reports for management review.

6. Monitor bank balance, and monthly bank reconciliation.

7. Investigate and resolve customer queries.

8. Research and resolve payment discrepancies.

9. Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally assist with month-end closing.

10. Work on ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Requirements:

1. Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Banking/Finance or any related field(s)

2. Analytical and meticulous to process and rectify problems

3. Strong with numbers and intermediate with Excel functions (V-lookup, Pivot table)

4. Hungry to learn and responsible

5. Good team player and proactive 

6. Able to commit at least 3 months/6 months
