EQCOMS Technology Pte Ltd is a Singapore based SME focusing on data storage solutions, communication products, IT and Infrastructure solutions. We specialize in Intelligent Office Automation including high performance data, Voice, fiber optic cables, connectivity solutions as well as construction and maintenance of data center or critical environment.

The Technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and systems are fully functional and in optimal operating condition. The candidate will support the team by performing installation and maintenance on equipment and systems in accordance with maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Follows guidelines and best practices, ensuring work activities are carried out safely and in compliance with regulatory and statutory policies, procedures, and regulations. The candidate follows emergency response plans and adheres to workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements.

The candidate usually works under supervision. A good team player and is able to engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate is also expected to work on-site. This is a junior electrical Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of cable and maintenance works
• Control maintenance process and issues
• Contribute to continuous improvements
• Interpret drawings or data to troubleshoot or execute work/ defects
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance works
• Record equipment performance in assigned lines
• Suggest improvements in equipment set-up
• Keep records of a diagnosis or defective final products
• Take initiative to seek opportunities for improvements and implement corrective action

Requirements

• Minimum Professional Certifications, NITEC, Diploma or Degree holder
• Singapore Citizen
• Class 3 Driving License preferred
• This job requires heavy physical work and working outdoor such as site visitation
