Epicurean Concepts Marina Square Pte Ltd – Graphic Designer (Intern)

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individuals to be part to our Emporium Shokuhin family as Graphic Designer (Intern). This intern will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, the successfully shortlisted interns will be trained and familiarized with Emporium Shokuhin’s Graphic Design and Marketing process

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop concepts and design marketing collaterals for web (ie. EDMs, etc) and non-web based (ie. posters, flyers, seasonal catalogues, membership collaterals, menus, etc).
• Create graphic content for web and social platforms.
• Responsible for the alignment of designs according to the brand image, brand position, design criteria, corporate guidelines and any other creative and art direction as provided by the company.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers on all production matters, including uploading of necessary files for production usage and press checks.
• Proper documentation and systematic archival of all artwork files.
• Manage and maintain image library.
• Maintain and update websites.
• Coordinate and handle photoshoot/videography sessions for events; shooting of products for ecommerce purposes and product shoots for any campaigns.
• Assist in visual merchandising for seasonal campaigns (ie. Chinese New Year, Christmas, etc) in terms of conceptualizing the theme and sourcing for decorations/props to decorate the establishment according to the concept.
• Prepare artwork in templates for Operation teams to use.
• Handle measurements of equipment or spaces meant for collaterals (ie. freezers, chillers, wall, pillars, etc) to aid the designing process.
• Handle all matters pertaining to designing processes (ie. sourcing of stock images from online image libraries, cropping images for ecommerce/social media platforms/website, etc).
• Other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Keen eye for design details and strong creative flair.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• A team player who is able to work in a team and independently without much supervision, and has good work ethics and attitude.
• Resourceful and good communicator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, have strict deadlines to meet and must work within budgetary constraints.
• Knowledge of print process/finished artwork preparation an advantage.
• Experience and knowledge of photography and/or videography an asset.
