This position reports to the Head of the software department and works closely with other developers to develop web applications based on client requirements. The developer will be involved in supporting existing AR/ VR web applications (troubleshooting/ bug fixes, maintenance), writing clean maintainable readable code, writing sensible documentation, and code commenting.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
Skills learned during this programme:
- ASP.NET Framework (MVC),
- .NET Core 3 (razor pages, mvc)
- .NET languages (C#)
- Microsoft SQL Server - writing optimized SQL queries, functions and stored procedures
- Javascript, JQuery or other javascript related library (react, etc)
- Proficient understanding of GIT
Duration of Traineeship Offered:
9 months
6. Eligibility Criteria for SGUnitedTraineeships:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- a.Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- b.Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020
