Envy Her’s journey began as a one-woman show with the dream to build a community for women in 2011, to create an intimate space for mothers to feel empowered as they put on their shapewears for the first time and through their motherhood journeys. As Jeannie introduced the first product line, Wink Shapewear, she understood the importance of feeling confident and being comfortable in one’s skin. One-woman became a small passionate team who dream of the same goal. Working towards personalised experiences for women, homes and offices became intimate spaces for friends-like customers to try and feel our like-second-skin shapewears on themselves, accentuating each individual’s natural beauty. We were humbled by the positive feedback we received and the stories of newfound confidence. As we continued to grow, we meet mothers who yearn for more. Ladies who exude confidence just because they feel good within. 

That set us thinking, how can we offer more? We came across something that was foreign to us, bralettes, during one of our business travels in the States. As common as it was in the West, it was uncommon in Asia as bralettes typically offer light cover ups with delicate lace and petite straps. We knew this was it, we knew this is what we can offer.  We embarked on a new journey and it wasn’t easy but we persevered. Putting business costs and sense aside, we took a leap of faith and reached out to families and friends who introduced us to our very talented, now in-house seamstresses to start our handmade journey in Singapore, in our cozy office/showroom front. With our desire to put properly fitted pieces together for every single person we meet, our focus on personalised and customised fits became paramount. We wanted every soul to feel strong, confident and beautiful.
