We are seeking a candidate with technical background in solar PV, to join a fast growing team in digitalization of renewable energy and energy IoT at Envision Digital Singapore HQ office. You will work closely with a global team of talented solar veterans and cross-functional teams, and given the responsibilities of customers engagement, technical support during project solutioning and delivery.
1. Assist in Project Management in the following areas: Solar project data review (technical information and drawings), Solar PV System project data exploratory analyses and transformation (historical data processing and ingestion), Project management, timeline and deliverables monitoring;
2. Understand customer’s solar assets and data connectivity requirements, work out the suitable solution to enable real-time monitoring;
3. Support sales and marketing activities, assist in the engagement with solar asset owners, developers, EPC and O&M companies, in the APAC region;
4. Assist in solar subject matters involved in solar projects and solutioning. In additional, support other renewable energy and projects such as solar + battery storage, smart grid, etc.
5. Generate product insights based on customer feedback, identified feature requests, pain points, for continuous enhancement and refinement of Envision’s existing products, assisting the addition of new analytics methods and tools;
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor or Master’s degree in physical science or engineering degrees with strong emphasis on solar or renewable energy preferred;
2. Knowledge in PV system technologies, solar farm design, monitoring and control, operation and maintenance, performance modeling, and/or performance engineering and analytics are highly desirable;
3. Acquainted with data communication protocols, IoT and IT; Good to have DCS, SCADA experience;
4. Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and in matrix organizations,
5. Strong communications skills and demonstrated experience in communicating and operating within a multinational corporation and engaging with audiences at different levels. Ability to bridge language and cultural barriers.
