The role of an Edge Engineer is to collect, integrate and transform industrial data to the Cloud. The Edge Engineer will be setting up the end-to-end connectivity from devices to EnOS Edge and EnOS Cloud. Part of the job scope will require the Edge Engineer to validate the correctness of data being collected and assist in identifying potential site issues. 

1) Assist in the solutioning, deployment and provisioning of Edge devices 

2) Configure the Edge devices to connect to the Cloud 

3) On-board OT data to the Cloud 

4) Performs data validation against sensor and meter readings 

5) Provides proper project and engineering documentations

Job Requirements: 

1) Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science or relevant qualifications 

2) Strong interest in Edge or Fog computing 

3) Strong interest in OT/IoT protocols (Modbus, BACnet, OPC-UA, IEC 104 to NB-IoT) 

4) Strong interest in API and MQTT Technology 

5) Strong interest in networking setups (DNS, DHCP, Firewall, Gateways, Routers)
