The Business Development Intern will be responsible for supporting the Sales team in merchant acquisition. Reporting directly to the Country Lead, you will be a strategic member of the Sales Team. This role would extend our reach through exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work closely with sales professionals and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Research and identify new business opportunities, prospect potential restaurant partners that can benefit from incremental diners during their off-peak hours
- Bring new ideas and perspectives to the table and work on exciting projects that push boundaries and challenge conventional thinking
- Brainstorm new marketing strategies and develop innovative sales techniques to make a real impact on the business
- Dive into the world of sales to help build something great together with the team
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Have a genuine interest in the e-commerce and start up industry.
- Self-motivated with a strong affinity for problem solving.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful and capable of learning fast and independently
- Verbal and written proficiency in English highly preferred
