Job Description

We are seeking a HSE & BCM Intern who will assist the Country HSE and BCM Lead in activities such as but not limited to:

  • Develop and raise awareness on HSE & BCM topic through different channels
  • Complies HSE Reports and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain HSE Management System & Performance
  • Participation in HSE planning process and programme
  • Research on industry best practices for possible ideas and improvement on HSE
  • Assist in HSE inspections and checks on work activities to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Act and all its subsidiary legal legislations.
  • Carry out any other assignments as tasked by the Country HSE and BCM Lead

Requirements:

  • Degree Graduates or undergraduates with a background (preferably) in Supply Chain / Logistic / Safety & Health
  • Able to commit minimum 6-month internship
  • Keen interest in Workplace Safety and Health & Business Continuity Management
  • Good people skills (friendly, approachable)
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to learn new skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Good time management
  • Ownership of tasks
  • Understanding when to ask for help and support
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders
