Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure all mechanical / electrical / air conditioning systems are maintained in good working conditions at all times
  • Ensure effective implementation of preventive maintenance and calibration schedules for the above systems
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with internal users and external vendors for the execution of maintenance services
  • Conduct assessment of equipment and systems and submit proposal for repair and replacement including sourcing and budgeting for projects
  • Work with Facility Manager to manage contracts, supervise, monitor the performance of external contractors and ensure that Planned Preventive Maintenance of M&E equipment are carried out per specifications and submitted Work Plan Schedule.
  • Manage external contractors and service provider(s) respond to incidents and recover the services/systems as per pre-determined KPIs.
  • Work with Facility Manager to ensure contracts or statutory certifications are renewed on time.
  • Assist the Facility Manager to supervise and manage team of Technician(s) to ensure their performance are up to expectation and assigned tasks are follow through and provide regular update of status and progress. This includes their response to incident and ensuring corrective actions/preventive measures are attended to and completed timely within established SLA/KPI.
  • Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces
  • Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
  • Handle general accounting tasks, such as accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, and budgeting.
  • Oversee and supervise the quality of work for other employees to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Manage and review service contracts.
  • Conduct and document regular facilities inspections, check completed work by vendors and contractors.
  • Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
  • Communicate workplace safety precautions to employees.
  • Forecast, allocate, and supervise the financial and physical resources of the facility management.
  • Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with external vendors
  • Collaborate with building owners, upper management, and operations on budgeting for facilities needs

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical / Civil Engineering with 1 year of relevant working experience is a plus
  • Candidates without experience are welcome to apply
  • Working experience in air conditioning system will be advantageous
  • Good IT literacy
  • Good project management skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skill
