Job Description

About the role
We are looking for an intern, passionate about education and youth, to run a pilot project launching our flagship schools programme – The Code – in our Singapore office. The programme contributes towards our network’s new social purpose of creating a Digital Economy That Works for All. With the full support of our global Board, we are now looking for an energising intern who can capitalise on the internal enthusiasm we have ignited to bring to life the pilot.

Key Accountabilities
This role will see the successful candidate working alongside the Global Social Impact Team and Singapore Communications Team to roll out and deliver 5-10 workshops as part of The Code and supporting planning for the longer-term programme delivery.

  • Manage tailoring of the programme into the Singapore context, in collaboration with an external delivery partner
  • Manage tailoring of the programme communications into the Singapore context, in collaboration with local Communications Team
  • Run a communications campaign to launch The Code in Singapore and recruit volunteers from across Singapore’s agencies
  • Liaise with external delivery partner to set up workshop dates and logistical arrangements
  • Train volunteers on workshop content prior to their sessions
  • Manage workshops and capture communications content and reporting data
  • Communicate and report on impact from the pilot
  • Support with planning for implementation of the broader programme in Singapore


Key capabilities and skills needed

  • Passionate about Social Impact, Education & Young People
  • Strong coordination and project management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written, with a good command of English

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Pursuing/completed a Degree with relevant project management experiences
  • Some sector (social impact) experience
  • Launching a new social impact programme
  • Experience working in marketing, with schools and young people
