Job Description


Purpose of the job:
Work alongside a copywriter within the creative department to conceive, develop and produce the look and feel of advertisements as a complete product across all media platforms for clients. We are looking for someone who is able to start immediately and able to commit for at least 6 months on a 5 days work week basis.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Interpret creative briefs
  • develop creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the copywriter
  • present ideas to colleagues and clients
  • familiarize with clients’ products/services, target audience and their competitors’ activities;
  • develop the final overall look and feel (visual and audio where appropriate and necessary) of ads
  • revise or redevelop ads or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or clients;
  • oversee campaigns through the production stage to completion
  • manage suppliers such as photographers, designers and programmers
  • manage the quality of the product (ads) output
  • working on several campaigns when required, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines
  • work with production house on final talent selection
  • keep up to date with popular culture and trends and digital innovations


Qualifications:

Diploma from NAFA, Polytechnic

Qualification from recognized Art school


Core Competencies:


  • strong visual conceptualization of ad
  • sound knowledge of digital production and through the line conceptualization
  • able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • have an awareness of trends and developments in design, materials, techniques and technology
  • able to apply knowledge of consumer trends and culture
  • good project management skills
