Job Description

Job Summary

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be required to assist the team to manage the relationships among the Company, our clients and external parties. You will be instrumental in enhancing the awareness, popularity and trustworthiness of the Company and our clients’ brands. You are an exceptional communicator. You are also creative and aware of different tactics to identify and use to engage the appropriate target audience. For PR, the goal is to build a strong communications network for our clients that will ensure good relationship with the general public and raise awareness of the clients’ company and their brands.

You are also responsible for providing marketing support through a variety of channels -- print, social media, digital, video and others as assigned. You will assist with the development and design of graphics, logos, collaterals and a variety of other creative tasks as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate marketing and communications activities
  • Under guidance and supervision, use a variety of channels (TV, press, Internet etc.) to maximize clients’ brand exposure
  • Liaise with media professionals to ensure consistency in brand awareness and promotion
  • Arrange for interviews or public speaking events and draft press releases
  • Assist with copywriting – including Company and clients’ collaterals
  • Analyze results of marketing and communications campaigns or efforts and prepare reports
  • Prepare images for digital and social posts
  • Assist with website planning and updates
  • Assist with collateral updates and version control
  • Assist with video production (shooting, editing, etc)
  • Assist the team with administrative tasks such as calendar updates, meeting requests and planning with clients, out of pocket expenses, etc
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven / internship experience in marketing / communications or similar role
  • Proven / internship experience in coordinating and managing effective marketing and communications campaigns through various channels
  • Solid knowledge of social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key people or organizations
  • A creative mind coupled with the ability to find the best practical solutions
  • Good learning attitude and no divas pls
  • BSc/BA in PR, marketing or similar field
  • Available for six months minimally from Jan 2020 to May / June 2021
