Datarise – Game Artist

Datarise is an IT startup based in Singapore working on its own portfolio of projects using data & machine learning to create breakthrough products with the aim to solve environmental & societal challenges.

Responsibilities

• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Create efficient game-ready low-poly models.
• Understand the design brief and decide on the best and most efficient way to execute them.
• Able to sketch and create game characters, environments and UI elements (able to produce in 3D is a plus)

Requirements

• Passionate in game graphic designing
• You have a thing for retro gaming
• Adaptability to different games and graphic styles (pixel, cartoon, realistic, illustration)
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• Great understanding of design basics (relief, lighting, composition, perspective, colors)
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• You enjoy working as part of a team and can also thrive in an un-supervised environment
