Junior Buyer, Resins (1 Year Contract)
Mission:
1/ PolyCarbonate Buyer
Responsible for the overall Management of a US$30M spend per year
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure supply security for Aqua polyCarbonate resin requirements
- Ensure cost competitiveness, improve negotiation performance and coverage performance
- Develop sourcing strategy mid-term to secure business growth
- Qualify new suppliers
2/ Consortium & Alliances
Support Danone Consortium & Alliances model by:
- Manage relationship with key partners
- Support reporting with partners, suppliers and Danone finance department
- Design and communicate market intelligence to Danone partners
- Support growth of the model by finding new partners and synergy opportunities
3/ PET Asia/Americas sourcing
Support PET senior buyer on PET sourcing
Desired Profile:
With a master degree in Engineering/Business (nice to have: already an experience in purchasing (internship included))
Required skills and attitudes:
- Knowledge of commodities market
- Excellent Analytical skills
- Very good communication/presentation skills
- Result orientated
- Anticipation: Capability to project him/herself in the future
- Enjoys working cross functionally, cross culturally and across different geographies
- Team player, proactive, adaptable and able to work in autonomy and occasionally under time pressure
- Customer/consumer orientated
- Openness, Good listener who can develop empathy
- Curiosity, enthusiasm, tenacity and potential to develop efficient influencing skills
- Fluent in English/Mandarin - French is a plus
