Daimler SEA ITI/O based in Singapore is looking for a Digital and Service Innovation Intern who is a sharp, personable, motivated, and hardworking individual. This intern should be pursuing a degree at a reputed school and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment. He or she will work at the center of helping accelerate digital transformation within IT Infrastructure at Daimler by enabling business processes, driving out-of-the-box ideas in marketing IT products and services, as well as increasing collaboration for employees, customers, and partners throughout. He or she will be part of our agile teams and be responsible in leveraging technologies that include the latest back-end and front-end toolchains. Working alongside some leading professionals in the industry, this intern will gain invaluable experiences throughout this term.

Job Description

Intern – Digital and Service Innovation (Jul To Dec)

Development: Experience in Java scripting, Angular JS, Jelly scripting, REST/SOAP API as part of the bachelor’s course. Any other programming knowledge is good to have.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Digital Team to perform development activities on servicenow tool as part of digital transformation initiative.
  • Conduct trainings to internal teams and markets on rolling out the platform to end users.
  • Learn and understand the platform to coordinate with HQ team.
  • Assist service owner in taking up use cases and drive towards the implementation.
  • Actively participate and drive Digital Transformation initiatives; including delivery of vision, roadmap and strategy on digitizing the enterprise
  • Lead transformation capabilities surrounding cloud, digital processes, social, mobile, analytics, etc.
  • Integrate HTML/CSS based web templates into popular CMSs like WordPress
  • Be responsible in generating mockup concepts and wireframes, and creating modern and responsive websites
  • Establish and manage business processes, programs and projects, resource allocation, KPIs, and governance activities to measure the progress, track the benefits capitalized, implement executive decisions rapidly, and ensure quality
  • Document business process mapping, use cases and plans of development
  • Build presentations to effectively communicate existing and upcoming IT products and services to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate and interact with team members at multiple levels to work towards the deliverables of respective assigned tasks
  • Conduct trainings to internal teams and business units regarding the usage of the self-service portal for handling the requests


Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university
  • Must commit to working full time (40 hours/week) during the internship
  • Prior experience in IT, business or relevant area
  • Experience in java scripting, Angular JS, servicenow development, REST/SOAP API configuration
  • Strong leadership skills with passion and aptitude for digital innovation
  • Problem solver and proactive learner by nature
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly
