Job Description

The Regional Security Office (RSO) for the Region APAC is a part of the Daimlers Corporate Security Organization and was established at the beginning of this year. The RSO coordinates the different security organizations in the regions, supports the business in all security related topics, drives regional security topics and initiatives and ensures that security policies and standards are implemented and followed (governance role).

As part of the team, you will gain exposure to working in a global multinational company and supporting important security topics for the region. You will be involved in developing strategies and concepts, in strengthening the governance function and fostering the communication and collaboration between the different country and local security organizations and the RSO.

In this role,  You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Support the development of a Regional Security Strategy and the roll out in the region
  • Be involved in identifying and monitoring of security targets in the region
  • Support the assessment of the security situation in the region and the preparation of reports and recommendations to the business
  • Collect all security related information in the region and set up a database
  • Assist in driving initiatives to improve and implement security standards in the region, for example for the topics Crisis Management, Expat and Travel Security, Site Security.
  • Forster the collaboration and communication in the region through the development of communication concepts and implementation of communication channels.
  • Support the RSO in preparing presentations and reports
  • Assist with organizing of security conferences and meetings

Education & Work experience:

  • Degree in Political Science or Security Management or Business Management/Administration
  • International exposure and cross-cultural experience preferred
