Job Description

The candidate will support on service demand and financial-related automation topics.


As a Shared Services Centre, ITI/O supports more than 20 markets across regions and have Service Agreements with close to 70 legal entities. The Service Demand Management team is the first touchpoint between the internal customer and ITI/O.


The intern(s) will shadow the Service Demand Management team and observe how a demand from a Daimler entity is captured, recorded and subsequently delivered to the customer. In the process, he/she will interact with different teams both within and outside of the department and experience first-hand how data at the first touchpoint is consumed and utilized across the organization.

Task Description & Key Deliverables:
•Provide a “fresh-eye” perspective and report on the opportunities for process streamlining and/or automation postobservation.
•Review current automation initiatives specific to the Service Demand Management team and pinpoint areas to
strengthen.
•Review current reports/templates. Propose and make enhancements.
•Future-proof current reports and templates to ensure that it is user-friendly and suitable for self-help/ self-service.
•Review logic of SQL scripts to ensure robustness and flexibility for automation and self-help.
•Passion for learning.
