Daimler Financial Services Africa & Asia Pacific Ltd – Operations Intern

Daimler Mobility supports the sales of Daimler Group's automobile brands with tailor-made financial services, which range from financing and leasing to insurance and fleet management.

We are looking for an intern to support projects and initiatives for process optimization and digitalization. Preferably the successful candidate could do a 6-month, full time internship beginning June 15 2021.

Tasks include:

• Propose and implement optimization of processes and systems
• Propose and implement automation of repetitive manual work
• Participate in projects and initiatives as representative of Operations department
• Support systems enhancements by providing business requirements, feedback on specifications, and test scenarios
• Execute tests for systems enhancement and monitor stabilization of systems
• Perform feasibility studies in line with new global standards and new local regulatory requirements
• Support day-to-day operations work (Contract Activation/Customer Service and Cash Management) when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
• Financial analysis skills
• Fair understanding and appreciation for Robotic Process Automation
• Knowledge of financial companies / automotive finance industry as well as financial product will be an added advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills / teamwork and willingness to learn
