CPO Pte. Ltd. – Algorithm Developer (Pricing & Optimization) Intern

Your Role:

We’re looking for a sharp, analytical Algorithm Developer who thrives on complex problems and enjoys working at the intersection of data science, software engineering, and competitive market dynamics. You’ll play a key role in crafting intelligent algorithms that optimize pricing decisions in real time, balancing profitability, competitiveness, and operational constraints.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop intelligent pricing and ranking algorithms for real-time environments
• Analyze large datasets to detect patterns, model competitor behaviors, and derive actionable insights
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to integrate algorithmic logic into production systems
• Continuously monitor and improve algorithmic performance through A/B testing and model tuning
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, optimization, and market economics

What We're Looking For:

• Strong background in algorithms, mathematics, or applied statistics
• Proficiency in Python or another high-level language used for data science or algorithm development
• Experience with optimization libraries, predictive modeling, or reinforcement learning is a plus
• Comfort working with large datasets, real-time systems, and decision-critical logic
• Independent thinker with a pragmatic mindset and strong attention to detail

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with supply/demand dynamics
• Experience building adaptive or self-learning systems in production
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP)
