Full-time Barista

Job Description

• Ensure day-to-day operations in the cafe run smoothly including but not limited to making and serving beverages, managing the cashier, maintain a clean environment and manage supplies

• Educate customers on the coffee that we will be serving from bean origins to preparation methods

• Be able to handle any escalations or issues as they arise, such as shifting customers around to pack more customers or petty disputes among customers

• Enforce company policies and best practices

Requirements

• No experience required, training will be provided

• Expected to drink coffee (with milk), may not be suitable if you’re allergic to milk or coffee products 

• Expected to work at least one of two weekend days every week and public holidays

• Required to stand for long periods of time

• Work may end later than usual

• Well-maintained personal hygiene and grooming

• Passion for coffee: you get excited about learning more about coffee.

• Adaptability: you can react quickly to situations that you might not be familiar with and gather whatever resources to deal with them accordingly. 

• Communicate comfortably: you are able to hold conversations with people about anything in a manner that lets the other party feel at ease. 

• Belief: you believe that you are capable of elevating the standards of our cafe and find ways to keep improving yourself and the company

Benefit:

• Expected salary: SGD 1800 - 2400 per month (Full-time), SGD 7.5 - 10 per hour (Part-Time)
