We are looking for an Venue Operations Executive to support the delivery of venue operations and event execution across international and large-scale events. This role is hands-on and operational in nature, with direct involvement in managing on-site guest experience, coordinating event requirements, and ensuring venue readiness before, during, and after events.
You will work closely with organisers, service partners, and internal teams to help deliver smooth, safe, and well-coordinated events. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys ground operations, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build practical experience in the MICE industry.
Event and Venue Operations
Manage and support assigned events and day-to-day venue operational duties.
Coordinate site visit arrangements and ensure event signage is prepared accurately and aligned with branding and wayfinding requirements.
Conduct pre-event operational checks and participate in joint inspections with organisers to support smooth handover and takeover of venue spaces.
Coordinate and fulfil organisers’ logistical and technical requirements, including equipment setup, service arrangements, and event-day operational support.
Liaise with cleaning, security, logistics, and other service partners to ensure services are delivered according to agreed timelines and service standards.
Safety and Compliance
Conduct regular fire and safety inspections to identify potential hazards and follow through on corrective actions with organisers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Support crowd control and traffic flow management during high-footfall events to maintain safety and a positive guest experience.
Serve as a trained First Aider and Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) member to support emergency preparedness and on-site incident response, training will be provided.
Operational Administration and Support
Raise and track operational work orders accurately and on time to support event delivery.
Support procurement-related activities, including obtaining quotations, raising purchase orders, coordinating vendor services, and verifying invoices.
Monitor the scheduling, accuracy, and live status of digital signage content to ensure timely and clear communication to visitors.
Respond to operational enquiries promptly and coordinate follow-up actions with relevant stakeholders.
Provide additional operational and cross-functional support as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Qualification
Minimum NITEC.
Candidate with minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in event operations, venue operations, hospitality, or a related field, will be considered for a Senior Executive position.
Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment and handling on-site event requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable handling operational documentation and coordination tasks.
Able to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
