1. Traineeship Description
This position reports to the Principal and interfaces with students, parents and external training partners. You will be in charge of developing courseware materials for teaching coding to young learners (age 7 and above), and delivering coding lessons to small groups of students (usual groups of 6). You are professional, mature, independent, enjoy working well with kids, and have a positive can-do attitude.
Computhink is a Programming School for Kids. We provide beginner to advanced regular weekly coding classes for young learners. 2. Specific Responsibilities
Trainee to be involved in:
Curriculum Development of Class Materials
1. Assist in strategizing for new teaching material and classes to engage students.
2. Conceptualise, Research, Develop and Review Teaching material for classes.
3. Responsible for development of quality classroom material. e.g. Powerpoints, Coding Samples, Short Video Clips and others.
Trainer and Teaching Responsibilities
1. Teach young students how to code using block programming or text-based languages (Python, Java etc).
2. Lead and conduct coding classes for students age 7 and above.
3. Teach Coding, Programming Concepts, and Algorithms in a fun and engaging way.

4. Education Qualifications
Degree Holder and above
5. Eligibility Criteria for SG United Traineeships
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- a. Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- b. Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.
