Position Overview
To work closely with finance team to manage plant finance routines such as pricing, build up a digital finance dashboard to optimize the process, reduce human errors, and improve the efficiency.
Responsibilities
The intern would have the experience to:
- apply programming/digital skill to automate business processes,
- get profound understanding of finance and other business processes end to end,
- join Plant Finance meetings
- interact with by different users/stakeholders from finance and other departments.
- create user manual/ prepare show and tell session for all targeted users for successful projects;
- evaluate the automation processes by cost, payback, and long-term implication for PRPL
This internship is for students who have a keen desire to learn and contribute to the company's digital journey, working with different stakeholders and having both automation skills and gaining business acumen during the internship tenure.
1 or 2 days onsite at Tuas is required per week. Transport is provided at 12-18 pickup points across the island.
We welcome:
- Full time full internship for students who can work from Feb to June/July 2023. OR
- Part time internship (3 days a week) for students who can work and study same duration.
- Resilient and committed individuals who either has prior experience in Microsoft Powerapp, Powerautomate, PowerBI or Excel experience, if not, curiosity and inquisitive mentality to be able to learn online tutorials to pick up those skills.
