Club Med – Commercial Assistant

Duration : 4-6 month internship / ASAP

Location: Singapore (River Valley district)

Reporting to : MICE Manager - Singapore

Main tasks : Assist MICE Manager on the following tasks :

• MICE business prospection initiatives (LinkedIn, EDMs, databases…)
• Pre Sales
  • Answer incoming queries
  • Assist in drafting proposals
  • Crafting/updating of proposal or presentation templates
  • Chasing or following up on proposal status
• Post Sales & Operations
  • Helping to chase for rooming list or payment
  • Coordinating ad-hoc customer request
• Administrative
  • Update new account in Salesforces
  • Give-away to clients
• Events
  • Coordinating of event
  • Venue Searching
  • Coordinating guest list

Note: the role may require business trips to Club Med’s resorts in Asia (site inspections with clients…).

PROFILE:

• Undergrads or Students taking Diploma in Business Management or Major in Hospitality or Tourism
• Preferably past experience in sales, knowledge of the hospitality and/or MICE industry.
• Previous experience as sales intern/position would be advantageous
• Languages: English (Chinese optional)
• IT skills: computing skills (Office, Excel, Pwp…)
• Soft skills: strong sales mind-set, communication skills, project management, negotiation skills, customer-oriented. willingness to learn, team-player
