Company Profile
  • Climate Impact X (CIX) is a joint venture funded by DBS Bank, Temasek, Standard Chartered and the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

CIX was created to help drive environmental impact at scale. Our platforms provide the highest quality carbon credits, and the liquidity, to support companies in the voluntary market.

The company is initially focused on natural climate solutions (NCS), which involve the protection and restoration of natural ecosystems like forests and mangroves. We place a strong emphasis on quality, working with partners and harnessing technology to evaluate and monitor these projects. This provides reassurance to our community of buyers, and supports our trusted suppliers in earning fair value for their projects.

When launched in early 2022, CIX will be an operator of a global carbon exchange and marketplace for carbon credits based in Singapore. The company will use satellite monitoring, machine learning and blockchain technology to enhance the transparency, integrity and quality of carbon credits that deliver tangible and lasting environmental impact, enabling organizations to address hard-to-abate emissions.
