Child and Cardiology Practice – Clinic Assistant

Clinic assistant/intern who is passionate about bringing cheer to sick kids and supporting families in their health journey. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and measure and record vital signs, including weight, height, and temperature, for young babies, toddlers, and teenagers. Check to ensure the patient's history is complete and assist doctors with any necessary procedures, such as administering injections. Receptionist and administrative work, and obtaining necessary results from the hospital. The intern would gain hands-on experience across many aspects of a paediatric clinic and learn to recognise and prioritise sick paediatric patients. The intern would also learn communication skills specific to a paediatric setting, especially how to communicate with sick children and their carers. Regular office hours for work-life balance.
