Job Description

Responsibilities

PTS business, Building and strengthening relationship with sell side contacts (mainly electronic trading teams) in order to entice more liquidity on CBOE Japan trading venues.

Assisting day-to-day interaction of the team with not only sell side but buyside clients as well as service providers to ensure their best experience in doing business with CBOE Japan. It includes responding to clients’ queries, gathering market intelligence, and selling non-transaction revenue items such as market data and connectivity related products in coordination with the other internal teams.

Assisting the team in executing the strategic projects such as retail SOR rollout. BIDS business. Assisting the team for the successful launch of BIDS. Once launched, responsible for identifying lead opportunities and onboarding new customers and training clients on BIDS Trader, and providing client service and support. The role is expected to primarily in charge of Japan onshore clients, while collaborate with the Asia sales team for the offshore clients.

Tracking usage and performance metrics to determine if the BIDS users’ needs are being met, and if any changes are required to increase usage. Coordinating with operation team for BIDS Trader integrations and management of any technical issues.

Requirements

  • Equity trading experience as a sales/trader/product specialist in the sell side/buyside firms, or the sales experience at equity trading related service providers or equity trading venues.
  • JSDA Class 1 Sales Representative.
  • Native Japanese language skills.
  • Preferable for business level English proficiency.
  • Desired Skills, Experience and Education:
  • Account Management experience
  • Experience in Business Development and Client Services
  • Sales Experience (prefer Sales experience to vendors)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales
