Job Description

Carro is seeking to hire an Electronics Engineer intern for our Engineering team.

We are looking for Electronics Engineers to assist in hardware design and development in a fun, dynamic, innovative and impactful engineering team. The products you create will be directly driving change in Carro’s future operations in the South East Asia region. You’ll be expected to be an excellent team player that leads and/or assists fellow engineers in product design, development, implementation and documentation from a hardware perspective. 

This role offers many opportunities for creative solutions, personal achievements and upward mobility. The role comes with a starting salary range of $1,500 to $1,800. Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop prototypes according to the demands of the products developed

  • Improve existing products’ reliability and efficiency

  • Prototype testing, deployment and documentation of electronics hardware

  • Troubleshoot hardware errors or failures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications or related fields (can be in progress).

  • Able to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills, initiative, hunger to achieve results, resourcefulness and a team player.

  • Ability to do firmware level ‘C’ language programming.

  • Experience in designing hardware circuits or system or related fields is preferred.

  • Experience working with IOT, power electronics, communication, automotive or similar industry is advantageous.

  • Experience with end-to-end electronics development, embedded microcontroller platforms and PCB layout design software such as Altium Designer, Cadence, Eagle or other electronics design CAD tools is advantageous.
