CAL is a non-profit organisation in Singapore dedicated to empowering young adults in Singapore with lived experiences of mental health challenges through its broad suite of programmes including peer support groups, educational workshops, and the Human Library Experience. Their work focuses on anti-stigma efforts and encouraging help-seeking behaviours by sharing authentic peer voices.

At Caregivers Alliance (CAL), we are passionate about empowering individuals who are Persons in Recovery (PIRs) and fostering a supportive community for those navigating mental health challenges.
We believe that everyone deserves access to understanding, support, and connection.
As our CR Programme Intern, you will play a vital role in the designing of curriculum, development of programme elements and execution of our initiatives on the ground, directly impacting our participating members and the broader mental health scene in Singapore.
Whether you have personal experience with mental health conditions or simply possess a deep sense of empathy and a desire to make a difference, your contributions will be invaluable.
You will get to:
- Create impactful events: Support the planning and organising our Circles of Resilience Support Groups for Youth, Resilience Education Workshops and other events aimed at supporting mental health recovery and fostering broader community engagement.
- Shape support: Assist in designing and reviewing session plans and programme materials for our support groups and workshops, ensuring they are innovative, relevant, engaging, and aligned with the needs of our participants.
- Facilitate deeper connections: Support semi-structured peer support group sessions, creating a safe and inclusive space for individuals to share their experiences and build supportive relationships.
- Drive data-informed decisions: Help with the administering and management of data to support programme evaluation and inform future initiatives.
- Support accessibility to mental health services: Support the team in outreach efforts and work on fun, youth-centric ideas to engage individuals between the ages 15 – 35 to convey broader purpose of CAL.
Minimum Qualification:
- Polytechnic Diploma

- Passionate about mental health
- Empathetic and possess a genuine desire to help others
- Organised and detail-oriented
- A strong communicator and collaborator
Skills & Experience Preferred:
- Microsoft Office – Excel & PowerPoint Proficient
- Basic Design Skills on Canvas and Adobe
- Group Facilitation Skills
- Event planning experience would be a plus
