Job Description
- Transcribe Singaporean English audio recordings (mixed with other local languages), in accordance with the project guidelines
- Vet and edit of Singaporean speech data transcripts in English and/or Chinese/Malay based on project guidelines
- Support the team in producing captions and subtitles
- Work with freelancer pool and support in project management
Requirements
- Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality of transcribed material
- Fast typing skills
- Prior experience in International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) transcription (any language) and/or background in Linguistics Studies would be a plus
- Track record for being reliable and committed to meeting deadlines
- Meticulous and carry out necessary research/checks to ensure accurate and consistent spelling/usage of words
- Proactively communicate with fellow teammates to share updates and discuss any questions or issues
- You may be required to work from the client’s premise depending on respective projects’ needs
