Summary
As our Communications Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on internal and external communications as well as events planning. You will be involved in content and visuals creation (e.g. for social media, presentations or press releases), branding topics, websites updates, employee engagement activities, and exhibition/conference organization.
This role is based in our Singapore office and reports to the BW LPG Head of Corporate Communications. During this internship, you will learn how to operate in a multinational organization with a dynamic and fast-paced team culture, which will equip you with the necessary hard and soft skills to work in any communications team.
Responsibilities
- Update corporate websites and internal employee platforms (intranet)
- Support creation and design of communication collaterals (e.g. posters, videos, photo slideshows), including coordination with agencies and external vendors
- Draft internal communication pieces, reports and press releases
- Create content and visuals/videos for company LinkedIn channel
- Support corporate gifts and give away production, storage and distribution
- Assist with planning, organization and execution of conferences
- Collaborate on internal events and communications initiatives across affiliates
- Refresh corporate materials and presentations
- Any admin and/or ad-hoc tasks as appropriate
Qualifications
- Strong writing and communication skills
- High level of initiative and follow-up mentality
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Able to multitask and work across multiple projects/platforms
- Creative with a good eye for detail and design
- Knowledge in video creation (e.g. Canva)
- Comfortable with social media (LinkedIn)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Available for at least 4 months, starting from Jan 2026 onwards
